*** AS WELL AS SETTING YOUR ONLINE LEARNING I AM ALSO 'TEACHING' IN SCHOOL FULL TIME THIS WEEK SO PLEASE BEAR WITH ME IN TERMS OF ANSWERING EMAILS AND MESSAGES ***
Monday 20th. April
Good morning, everyone! I hope you all had a good Easter and ate lots of Easter eggs. It's been gorgeous weather, hasn't it! I'm so pleased that it hasn't just rained every day. Hopefully, you are managing to get lots of fresh air.
Welcome to the Summer Term! If we were at school, our learning would be based around the Ancient Egyptians. This is a topic that I love teaching so I'm going to try to put as much of it into a home learning format as I can. I hope you will enjoy it!
Read 'The Discovery' and answer the comprehension questions. Mark your answers using the answer sheet to see how you did.
Have a go at this arithmetic test. Do it as a test. Show your working out for each question. Then mark your answers. The answer sheet is on the final page of the test booklet. No cheating! Which questions did you get wrong or not know how to do? Use this information to practise your weak areas.
Use this booklet to learn the rules for using possessive apostrophes. The work in this booklet should be enough spelling work for this week.
Use the information below as your introduction to Ancient Egypt. As you watch the video clips make some notes about the bits of information that interest you.
